Change The Way You Display

In the ever growing food-to-go channel in Australia, the demand for higher quality products has been a hot topic for retailers buying into this high growth category.

According to the AACS State of Industry 2022 report, food service had a growth of $108 million in 2022 from the previous year.

Fri-Jado have been leading the way for more than 20 years in the way retailers display hot and cold food-to-go products in a retail environment, with the focus always on making the food the hero.

In its 25-year partnership with Avem Quirks, Fri-Jado will be bringing their latest food display units to Australia. You can view some of their leading displays in the fresh food area of the 2022 Metcash Expo.

Modular Convenience Counters

With its sole focus on making the food the hero, the Fri-Jado (modular convenience counter) MCC range offers unlimited possibilities to display hot and cold products. With 30 per cent more display surface and a 360° view, more product is visually seen in the Fri-Jado MCC range than any other display cabinet on the market.

Using its patented Hot Blanket and Omnicold holding technologies, higher holding times are also achieved in these units. This keeps food safe, tasting fresher for longer and focuses on reducing waste. Fri-Jado have also made these units with better efficiency, better ergonomics and the introduction of humidity in mind, providing retailers with limitless options in their menu selection.

Multi-Deck Displays

The Fri-Jado MD hot holding units have been a pillar within the Australian food retail environment for more than 10 years. With customer demand shifting product range in the food-to-go category, there has been a need for greater innovation in hot food holding.

Representing the next generation of hot-holding cabinets, the Fri-Jado Multideck Display (MDD) has been designed on the back of customer feedback and focuses on three key principles: visibility, efficiency and ergonomic design.

As with the design of the MCC unit design, the focus has been on making the food the hero. With ultra thin shelves, LED lighting and patented Hot Blanket technology, the MDD unit maximises transparency while ensuring the correct food temperature is maintained. The focus on energy efficiency now also delivers up to 50 per cent energy savings compared to its nearest competitor in the market. With added multi temperature zones, the MDD unit can hold and display different food products for different menus throughout the day, making the MDD ready for any future consumer trends.
